A CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine delivers a constant flow of mild air pressure to help keep the airways open during sleep. Healthcare providers commonly prescribe CPAP therapy for the treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders, including sleep apnea.
Discuss your sleep concerns - Talk to your primary care physician about potential symptoms of sleep apnea, such as loud snoring, daytime fatigue, or gasping for air during sleep.
Get tested and diagnosed - If you snore like a freight train, a sleep study can determine whether CPAP therapy is right for you. If sleep apnea is detected, your doctor will prescribe a CPAP machine with the appropriate pressure settings and necessary accessories.
Get started with us! - Simply fax your prescription, sleep study report, insurance details, demographics, and face-to-face evaluation to (646) 736-5423. Once we review your documents and verify your insurance coverage, we’ll kick off the approval process—getting you one step closer to better sleep!
Once approved, your CPAP machine will be shipped directly to your home. You’ll also receive a virtual consultation with our licensed respiratory therapist, who will guide you through mask fitting, proper cleaning, and troubleshooting to ensure you’re set up for success.
Make it a habit - Wear your CPAP every night to stay compliant (at least 4 hours per night for 70% of the month). Keep your equipment fresh—insurance may cover replacements, so be sure to swap out filters, masks, and hoses regularly for the best therapy results. Plus, our licensed respiratory therapist will monitor your progress during the first 90 days, making any necessary adjustments to optimize your treatment.
